Eupepsis

Only the most frozen-over of poetry readers could fail to enjoy the eupeptic belly laugh of a good parody. Landfill Press’s Other Men’s Flowers, ‘Cut by Ron Paste’, is in every way good for the digestion. This should be enough of its first three poems to make it obvious who's being recycled:

The Question

Well now, I wonder –
was it perhaps of my own dear
father, or of my own dear mother…

‘N. Duploom’

from Preach! Preach!

Apoplex now ׀ immanent, nót
immanent...

‘Fogy Hell-Fire’

from Voulez-Vous coucher avec moi?

You were reading Apollinaire.
I was counting your nostril hairs.

‘Marcel Proust’

Ludicrously cheap too. Purchase here.
